GSF Welcomes New Board Leadership

The Global Solidarity Fund (GSF) has recently elected officers for its Board of Directors for the upcoming year.

Susan M. Huber was elected to serve as Board Chair for a one-year term and reappointed to the Board of Directors for a second, three-year term. A founding member of GSF, Huber has served as a Board Member and Treasurer of the Board of Directors to date. She is President of Ascension Global Mission, and Senior Vice President of Ascension, a faith-based healthcare organization dedicated to transformation through innovation across the continuum of care.

Tim Welsh was elected to serve as Treasurer for a one-year term. Welsh was appointed as a Board Member of the GSF Board of Directors in 2021. He serves as Vice Chair, Consumer and Business Banking (CBB) at U.S. Bank, the fifth-largest bank in the U.S. GHR

Joanne Driels was reelected as Secretary of the GSF Board of Directors for a one-year term. Driels has served as Secretary of the Board since March 2022. She is an Advisor to the Managing Director of Global Policy and Advocacy at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Patrick W. McGrory, who serves as President of GSF and Board Member, was reappointed to the Board of Directors for a second, three-year term. McGrory serves as a Private Wealth Advisor with Liberty Point Advisors and Chairman for the Raskob Foundation for Catholic Activities.

Walter Panzirer was also reappointed to the Board of Directors for a second, three-year term. Panzirer is a Trustee of the Helmsley Charitable Trust.

Anthony R. Tersigni, EdD, FACHE, completed his term as Chair of the Board of Directors of GSF. Dr. Tersigni was a founding member of GSF and served on its Advisory Board before he was elected as Chair in January 2020. He led GSF through its foundational years and his leadership has helped to establish GSF as a global influencer, leader and innovator in advancing holistic, inclusive and sustainable human development for all. Currently, he is Executive Chair of Ascension Capital, LLC. Prior to this role, Dr. Tersigni served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Ascension, one of the largest Catholic healthcare systems in the U.S.
