GSF Announces Board Appointments

Tim Welsh, current Board Member and Treasurer of the Global Solidarity Fund (GSF), was elected to serve as Board Chair for a one-year term effective October 23, 2023, through December 31, 2024. He serves as Vice Chair, Consumer and Business Banking at U.S. Bank, the fifth-largest bank in the U.S. 

Kerry Medek was elected to serve as Treasurer for a one-year term effective October 23, 2023, through December 31, 2024. She is Managing Director, Global and Local Domains at the GHR Foundation. 

Joanne Driels was reappointed to a second, three-year term as Board Member, effective January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2026. She was also reelected to serve as Secretary for a one-year term, effective January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024. Joanne is an Advisor to the Managing Director of Global Policy and Advocacy at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. 

Susan M. Huber completed her term as Chair of the Board of Directors of GSF and will remain a Board Member. A founding member of GSF, Huber has served as a Board Member and Treasurer of the Board of Directors since its inception in 2018. She is President of Ascension Global Mission, and Senior Vice President of Ascension, a U.S. faith-based healthcare organization dedicated to transformation through innovation across the continuum of care.
